black friday! woohoo! November 28, 2008
well, it’s here. the BIGGEST shopping day of the year. and for my family, that means one thing - the King of Prussia mall. if you are unfamiliar with this mall, let’s just say — it’s big. ENORMOUS. so big, we often cannot get through the entire place in one day. too many stores, too little time. most people think we are nuts for going there on a crowded, hyped up day like black friday, but we say - that’s the whole idea! hustle and bustle, chistmas decorations, noise, crowds, high fashion, great stores - it’s the closest you can get to shopping in nyc this side of the pennsylvania state line.
besides having an apple store, the other uber-cool store K of P can brag about is urban outfitters. now, i don’t know about you, but i feel that for a chain store, they have pretty cool merch. i’m going to head there first (as usual for us on the big day of shopping) and take some snaps of the wares they are offering this holiday season. check back later for the updated version of this post. and girls — my son dylan may be modeling some of the styles, so you will want to be sure you check back. just saying.
